FIELD NOTES

Before The Beekeeper – ARTISAN HONEY officially begins in its new form, there is one small special edition.
The illustrator is five years old. His name is Lorenz. A Field Note about family, origin and the real beginning of a brand.
On the jar is an illustration by Lorenz, five years old. Bees, honey, colours, lines – at first glance, a child’s drawing. At second glance, something that fits surprisingly well with what The Beekeeper – ARTISAN HONEY is really about.
Not perfect polish.
But authenticity
Children do not draw for a design concept.
They draw what they see. What catches their attention. What matters to them.
And that is exactly why there is more truth in this illustration than one might first expect.
Bees are not just small symbols. They are there. They move. They collect. They work. They fly between blossoms, combs and light.
A child often sees this more directly than adults do.
Without marketing.
Without strategy.
Without trying to make something appear larger than it is.
This small edition is therefore more than a temporary step before the official launch.
It is a piece of origin.
It shows that The Beekeeper – ARTISAN HONEY was not created at a desk, but from real beehives, real observations and an environment in which beekeeping has become part of everyday life.
Honey is not anonymous to us.
It comes from specific colonies, specific landscapes and specific moments of the year.
And sometimes, it also begins with an idea on a sheet of paper.
The illustration will not disappear.
It will remain part of the story.
Not as a gimmick. But as a reminder that even a premium brand needs a real beginning.
In the future, The Beekeeper – ARTISAN HONEY will appear more reduced: darker, quieter, clearer, more refined.
But this small special edition shows another side of the same idea.
It shows where we come from.
From family.
From nature.
From working with bees.
From a way of seeing things that has not yet learned to simplify everything.
This special edition follows the same philosophy:
The bees make the honey.
We preserve it.
We protect it.
We give it a form.
Sometimes that form is minimalistic and black.
Sometimes it is bright, colourful and drawn by a child’s hand.
Both belong to the same story.
Because The Beekeeper – ARTISAN HONEY is not just a jar of honey.
It is an attempt to see honey more consciously again.
As food.
As the result of a landscape.
As the work of a bee colony.
And as something that is not made.
But kept.
